Our program is a combination of Jiu-Jitsu and Karate under the direction of Sensei Kevin Cincotta.

Kevin Cincotta began studying the martial arts in 1975 while in the US army. After completing his service, he began training in the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate with the Villari organization. In 1983, shortly after earning his black belt, he opened Villari's Martial Arts Center in Biddeford, offering group and private lessons for men, women and children of all ages.

In 1995, he achieved the rank of 5th degree Master. He developed a passion for Brazilian jiujitsu after attending a Rickson Gracie seminar in 1993. In 1999, he won a gold medal at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation's Pan American Championships in Miami, Fl. In 2008 he was a championship belt winner in the expert gi (uniform) division at the North American Grappling Association's world championships in Newark, NJ.

In 2009, both he and son Anthony won championship belts in expert no-gi divisions at the NAGA world championships, becoming the first father and son pair to do so. Although retired from competition, Kevin continues to enjoy sharing his knowledge and love of the martial arts with students young and old.
